Atlas SEPAP MHE Environmental Test Chamber

The Atlas SEPAP MHE environmental test chamber is used to perform accelerated light aging of polymers in order to understand the aging mechanism of polymers exposed to the outdoors and to check the chemical evolution at the molecular level. SEPAP MHE uses mercury vapor lamps, which can replicate and accelerate the chemical mechanisms that lead to the gradual loss of polymer performance throughout its service life. SEPAP MHE can operate under irradiation levels of 90W/m2 to 300W/m2 (290 to 420nm).

Precautions for xenon lamp aging test machine:

Please keep in mind the precautions of the xenon lamp aging test box, which can avoid the machine malfunction due to improper operation by people, and the correct maintenance method can prolong the life of the machine.
1. Installation location of xenon lamp aging test machine
①. The installation location should consider the heat dissipation and the location where it is easy to check and repair.
② The distance between the wall and any other machines should be more than 600mm.
③. Set on a flat and vibration-free ground.
④. Choose well-ventilated and avoid direct sunlight.
⑤ This machine should be kept away from heat sources and flammable and explosive materials.
⑥ The power supply lines and water supply and drainage pipes should be as short as possible.
⑦. Please choose a place with less dust and moisture and good ventilation for installation
2. Precautions for the use of xenon lamp aging test machine:
① During the operation, please do not open the door of the box unless it is necessary, otherwise it may lead to undesirable consequences.
②. In order to provide the test product of this machine and the safety protection of the operator, please check the water pressure controller and the water level of the circulating water tank regularly.
③. Correctly install the wet bulb test cloth to ensure the correct relative humidity is measured.
④. Please read this manual carefully before operating this machine.
