1. Pre startup inspection:

1) Check that the pipelines and valves are in normal working condition.

2) Check that the dosage pumps and mixers of each dosing equipment are in normal working condition.

3) Check that the electrical equipment is in normal working condition.

2. The ratio and dosing method of various drugs:

Five types of chemicals were added to the juice wastewater treatment project, including sodium hydroxide, flocculant, coagulant, and nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus), as described below:

1) Sodium hydroxide - used to regulate the pH value of water quality.

Formula: Prepare according to 20% -25% concentration in Chongqing, that is, 1 part medicine 4 parts water or 1 part medicine 3 parts water.

Dosage: Control according to the pH value requirements. During the start-up period, the pH should be controlled between 7.8-8.5, and during normal working hours, the pH should be controlled between 7-8.

Dosing method: Special dosing devices and dosage pumps can be used for dosing, or it can be directly added in the tank.

2) Coagulant - used for dosing in flotation devices and secondary sedimentation devices.

Drug name: polyaluminum chloride (PAC).

Formula: Prepare according to 10% -15% concentration in Chongqing, that is, 1 part medicine 9 parts water or 1 part medicine 7 parts water., After preparing the medicine, start the mixer and stir until evenly distributed before use.

Dosage: The dosage is determined based on the water quality index test. Generally, the dosage prepared according to the above ratio should be within the range of 20-50mg/L.

Dosing method: Use a specially configured dosing device, metering pump for dosing, or directly add in the tank.

3) Flocculant - used for dosing in flotation devices and secondary sedimentation devices.

Drug name: No.3 flocculant (polyacrylamide PAM).

Formula: Prepare according to 1% -2% concentration in Chongqing, that is, 99 parts water per medicine or 98 parts water per medicine. After preparing the medicine, start the mixer and stir for at least 1.5-2 hours until it has matured before use.

Dosage: The dosage is determined based on water quality indicators after testing. Generally, the dosage prepared according to the above ratio should be within the range of 5-10mg/L.

Dosing method: Use a specially configured dosing device and a metering pump for dosing.

4) Nutrients - For industrial wastewater lacking nitrogen and phosphorus, nutrients need to be added. Nutrients are controlled in a ratio of C: N: P=100:5:1.

Drug name: Nitrogen (N) is made from agricultural urea, while phosphorus (P) is made from agricultural phosphorus fertilizer (ammonium dihydrogen phosphate)

Formula: Prepare according to 15% -20% concentration in Chongqing, that is, 7 parts water for 1 part of the medicine or 4 parts water for 1 part of the medicine. After preparing the medicine, start the mixer and stir evenly before use. Nutrients can also be directly added to the pool.

Dosage: Add according to the above carbon nitrogen phosphorus ratio.

Dosing method: Use a specially configured dosing device, metering pump for dosing, or directly add to the tank.

3. Precautions

1) All kinds of medicines must be stored separately to prevent moisture.

2) Regularly inspect the dosing equipment and remove any debris from the dosing tank.

3) Regularly check the lubrication condition of the agitator total pump and conduct maintenance every three months.
